Description: I make this version of 🐓 Chicken Adobo about once a month - it is an easy recipe to follow; "set it and forget it" is the slogan behind this dish 👌🏼. Throw all your ingredients in a pot 🥘 and let the flavors develop through a slow simmer over a period of 25-30 minutes. I prefer this dish on the sweeter side, hence the addition of sugar and 🍍 pineapple juice (these ingredients are both optional, but recommended). Marian 👧🏻 (my JOLLIBEE buddy!) lent me this simple recipe years ago and I haven't been able to put it down to rest. As for the lumpia, this was my first attempt at the popular Filipino appetizer 🍡 - I apologize if I screwed it up. As I mentioned in the video, I had a really hard time finding a consistent recipe for lumpia so I decided to include ingredients that sounded good to me. There seems to be a lot of flexibility when it comes to this dish 🤔. Ignore the CUCUMBER 🥒 (it's a VIETNAMESE 🇻🇳 thing). Haha. Enjoy! It was truly "SARAP!" 🤤 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ✔️ [CHICKEN ADOBO] 🐓 CHICKEN ADOBO: Chicken drumsticks/thighs with skin Soy sauce, 1/4 cup Pineapple juice, 1/4 cup (keep pineapple chunks) (OPTIONAL) Water, 1/4 cup Vinegar, 1/4 cup Sugar, 3 tsp Chicken powder, 3 tsp 🍃 DRY INGREDIENTS: Whole black peppercorns, 3 tsp Garlic, 3-4 cloves Bay leaves. 3-4 leaves ✔️ [LUMPIA - PORK & VEGETABLES] 🐖 LUMPIA: Ground pork, 400g Cabbage, thinly sliced Red onions, chopped Green onions, chopped Carrots (peas are optional) Water chestnut (optional) Salt, 3 tsp Pepper, 3 tsp Soy sauce, 1 tbsp 🌯 WRAP: Egg roll wrapper (found at Asian supermarkets) Egg ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- // SOCIAL MEDIA instagram - thienticles ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- //BUSINESS INQUIRIES ONLY e-mail - thiencle.3@gmail.com ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
